Our advice on string changing:

You will organically get better at this over time if you practice these techniques on every string change. Following this procedure will improve your tuning stability and overall sound.

1- Learn how to properly wind a string around a tuning post: You might need to adjust this process depending on the headstock of the guitar, therefore I recommend you watch a YouTube tutorial on how to do so for your specific type of headstock.

2- Stretch your strings properly: You should tune-stretch-retune until the string doesn't go out of tune after stretching. We recommend pulling the string from the 12th fret while placing a finger on the string at the nut level (so the string doesn't pop up) and repeating this process of pulling while placing a finger in different parts of the fretboard. Thicker strings require more stretching-retuning.
